About Me

Justin Kunimune (me) is a student at the Olin College of Engineering who really likes maps. One day, he learned of the Peirce-Quincuncial projection, thought it was pretty sweet, and decided it needed an oblique aspect centered on Jerusalem. Alas, the internet failed him in this instance, so he decided to do it himself. And he did. And then he got kind of carried away and made a ton of other map projections.

One of his many goals in life is to destroy the incorrect Peirceptions (that's a pun, not a typo) such as the floccinaucinihilipilification of Africa that have been perpetuated by equatorial-aspect Mercator projections and continue to plague society today.
